I’d had the pleasure of sampling Sonya’s catering at a work event and from that moment I knew that if my boyfriend ever asked me to marry him I would definitely want Sonya to cater for the wedding!. When the wedding finally came, Sonya didn’t disappoint. From the very beginning the service was friendly and very personal and every effort was gone to, to get everything right, such as visiting our venue in her own time. On the day the food was excellent and Sonya’s serving staff were friendly and efficient. 3 months on we are still receiving positive feedback from our guests, especially about the to die for cheesecake! For us it was also very important to be able to maintain our ethics when organising our wedding, so we really appreciated the local sourcing and use of organic ingredients. Sonya has now catered for two events I have organised and I have booked her for two more. Not only have the lunches been of excellent quality and variety, delicious and much praised (especially the chocolate brownies!) but Sonya’s flexible and open approach made negotiations a pleasure.

When we decided to invite our clients, partners, associates and trustees to our office to celebrate out Sweet 16th Birthday we wanted to show them how you could have a fabulous party and still be green! Well, actually Pink (it was a Sweet 16 after all) but Green on the inside. As a leading organisation working on environmental behaviour change we never expected to find a caterer who lived up to the very high environmental and ethical standards that we pride ourselves on having –- but to our delight we did with Eco Cuisine. Local, organic, sustainable, absolutely minimum waste, cost effective, and lovely staff – and it tasted delicious too!

Dear Sonya,
I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you so much for cooking us such a lovely meal on Friday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and I especially liked not having to do the cooking!! Tim and I finished off the squash risotto with a slice of pavlova for our lunch on Saturday so we were able to extend the experience so thanks for leaving that for us. I hope you had a good trip back down the A30 to your parents and found your way across the City ok.

"I probably gave Sonya the most difficult of briefs - i.e. no brief. I had 16 people turning up for an afternoon who needed to be watered and fed. Ages ranged from 2 to 62 years. The venue was my small flat and the kitchen is no larger than a cooker and a fridge.
The group returned to my flat which had been transformed into a Christmas scene: music was playing: party treats for the children were handed out: the table was decorated with a Snowman cake centre-piece and the food smelt (and subsequently tasted) fantastic. Everyone in the group was gobsmacked.
What Sonya had managed to do was something overlooked by many: finishing touches made the day and will be remembered forever. Added to which the food and rink had been carefully planned to cater for every age group.
As a measure of the success of the day, the fact I as host was able to join in the fun rather than worry about anything says it all. Thankyou Sonya for making a potentially stressful day a most enjoyable one."
